Awhile back there was an experimental Concorde engine with afterburner for sale on eBay.
People collect old fighter jets and tanks, and actually get them running, so just wait for an F-16, or look for something older.
This is a quite positive sign IMO!

As long as the parts are still useful. Wouldn’t put it past the US to sell subpar gear.
As long as all openings are tightly closed the heat and dryness in the desert should keep them usable.
