Set fire to his house, a flat “linked” to him (family member perhaps?), and his old car.

We live in an unhealthy democracy when people are being this extremist and violent over a political figure so bland he makes Gordon Brown look fun and care-free.

    This makes me really angry.

We’ve lost 2 MP’s in recent memory, I don’t care their leaning, they were murdered while in service to the people as a member of parliament. You wanna go for the prime minister? again, don’t care his political leaning, fuck you. Make an example of them.

Would the reaction be the same if it wasn’t a politician and just a regular person out of the public eye?

No, an attack on a member of our government, particularly the prime minister, is an attack on our entire nation.

(by ‘the’ reaction, I assume you mean mine)

That said, such an attack is never acceptable.

Isn’t that the point though it wouldn’t have occurred to a random member of the public because a random member of the public isn’t a politician.

He’s a nonce but he doesnt deserve that level of hate. Where was the public uproar when Cameron and Boj were bleeding the country dry?

Edit: Oh wow… I apparently didn’t know what that word meant. I thought it was cheerful slang for “muppet”. It’s… it’s not. I’ve been using the word wrong for years.

Haha fair enough, I’m intrigued now where else you’ve been using this word incorrectly!

I’ve used it a lot in polite company and no one seemed to have blinked an eye, though maybe I just wasn’t paying attention. Oof, egg on my face

I’m completely confused about what you’re mad about. There was public outcry Boris Johnson ended up running away because there was an investigation that would have ended badly for him.

Also you seem to be mad at Starmer despite the fact that I don’t recall him having personally done anything ever. I don’t particularly agree with Labour’s current direction but that’s a whole party issue.
