I’d normally agree, but disagree now only because many are out in the media saying they won’t support it until certain measures are removed or addressed. The GOP is already failing, so I don’t see why they’d be throwing out theatrics. Surely some are just making threats to get pork for their districts, but we’ll see who caves on which bits first. It’s going nowhere as of now, so whomever threatens to not vote for it will be getting something - hopefully for their constituents.

I guess they’re not exactly happy to have their inboxes (physical and digital) flooded again.

Or the fact that Trump may be fucking with their buddies, remember a lot of senators are friendly with state level businesses that are probably gettin fucked by Trump’s bullshit.

This is “stopped clock” shit. These people do not want the same thing as you. If they change anything about this bill, it will end up cutting more to offset the billionaire tax cuts that are non-negotiable to every single elected Republican.

The final contents of the bill will need to be blessed by both chambers, with Democrats almost certain to vote unanimously in opposition.

    I wish.

If any Democrats vote for it I’d be surprised. Like yeah Schumer sucks but I think even they can see they’d be run out of town if any vote for this.

With the provision striping the courts ability to use federal funds to hold the executive branch in contempt it all but guarantees every Democrat will have to vote against it. The entire bill is likely considered unconditional because of it

Well guess what. Debt won’t be reduced and no one will stop the bill. Cause fuck you.
