ART 13 delivered runtime and compiler improvements which translated to real world app startup improvements, with some apps starting up to 30% faster.

Google Play updates for the Android Runtime (ART) enhance app performance and provide up-to-date security features across a vast number of devices. Upcoming ART 14 will introduce OpenJDK 17 support and further optimizations, benefiting both developers and users.
