He’s not wrong, that shit does get annoying. I stopped playing Forza 5 because of it, but yet I also played and enjoyed wo long and that had pronouns as well. This reaction is over the top, I didn’t even act like this when I saw pronouns.

Bro- it’s literally one option in character creator, and you’re going to stop playing an entire game because of it? That’s honestly pretty sad, and maybe video games aren’t for you.

he has a point though. it wasn’t needed. why was it added? you’re introduced to so many characters and at not one point do they tell you what their pronouns are so why are you having to choose yours?

because sometimes characters will refer to you by your pronouns. are you fucking stupid? what kind of fucking loser flips out over being able to choose pronouns. just choose your fucking pronouns sissy. we all have em wether youre gay or not dumbass.

    These people think it’s stupid when women, POC, and LGBTQ+ people struggle to relate to straight, white, cis male characters. Yet they become absolutely unhinged because they are unable to relate to women, POC, and LGBTQ+ characters and the inclusion of words that acknowledge their existence.

    Thanks for the extra work you put in to include the juicy deets!

    Puzzling logic here. If something exists in the current day, why would it not exist 300 odd years later when the game is set?

    Also, aren’t Bethesda literally based in Bethesda, Maryland, the other side of the country from California?

      There’s no logic to think about. It’s just people driven by emotion. If you try and point out the logic, they just get put in a corner and get more entrched. They can always find some reason to justify their emotional reaction.

    The best way to explain the idea of inclusion to those chuds, if one should find oneself in such an position, is to show it as a business decision to appeal to the widest audience. Having one immature person give up on the game means less than nothing because so many other new players types will be playing. And at this critical time there are so few inclusive games that it almost guarantees some users.

    Why wouldn’t a business want the biggest target market, ie their audience, possible?

    Bigots and TERFs run failing businesses because they limit their own business potential. They hate people and this hate their money - which is the most anticapitalist position possible.

    I’ve had this conversation about inclusion enough that this argument will literally divide a dining room full of conservatives.

      They could understand this, but they don’t actually care about the “free market”. They care about using any mechanism of power possible to eradicate people that they deem undesirable.
