Avelo Airlines has struck a deal with the federal government to use their planes for deportation flights.

Protests have been happening at airports where Avelo has their planes all across the country.

The airline announced a deal on April 7th with ICE to help carry out deportations from Mesa Gateway Airport in Arizona.

Immigration advocates say the way deportees are treated on these flights is dehumanizing and inhumane, with their hands and feet shackled and told not to make eye contact with anyone.
