Brother, have you heard of buses? Even INSIDE cpus/socs bus speeds are a limitation. Also i fucking hate how the first thing people mention now is how ai could benefit from a jump in computing power.
Edit: I havent dabbled that much in high speed stuff yet but isnt the picosecond range so fast that the capacitance of simple traces and connectors between chips influence the rising and falling edge of chips?
Lol do we count swedish, norweigan and danish as different languages? Btw other languages are my two native ones: hungarian and english, and then i know spanish because i had it in highschool and i lived 4 months there(cant really speak it anymore sadly) and then croatian because i had one if my friends teach it to me. I used to know some japanese but i also forgot that so without that the total is 5 i guess.
Bonus answer: as for everyday counting i do it either in hungarian or english so no i dont count in my non-native languages. My brain gets fried if i try to do maths for example in swedish. If i do english maths its no problem but i still prefer hungarian when i do large calculations without any paper.
Affordable housing doesnt need to be expensive. You can have pretty nice midrises for very cheap. Design like 20 different models, all of em in 5 different colours, thats 100 different styles of apartment buildings and you just dont put two of the same next to eachother and problem solved. Mass produced, colourful, nice, cheap, housing.
In most eu countries the law requires businesses that give out food to also allow you to order free tap water. If youre in a city and dont want to spend money on a bottle of water, walk into mcdonalds and ask for free tap water. A lot of european countries also have strict laws about tap water so for example in france unless otherwise indicated with a warning, tap water is always potable.
Just move to europe you can. Where i live theres a pizza place under and the guy running it is literally one of my neighbours(apartments) and literally the next house on the street is on top of a bakery/cafe, all owned by a family.

Also most people only see the living conditions of the top 1%. Going to beijing and being amazed by it is like going to hollywood or manhattan and then ignoring the rest of la or upstate ny. And then we havent even gotten to the really bad ones… And then europe also exists. We still exploit poorer countries(which now china also does and the us as well of course) but basically we have the best living conditions in the world and also some of the best places for queer people. Like literally my country that counts as a shithole in europe(hungary) is still somehow one of the best countries by a lot of metrics in the whole world, usually only behind other european countries.

Someone explain to me why i have a sense for ai? This is like the fourth time this week i see an ai image and i spotted it even tho at first i hadnt seen the mistakes the ai made. Something just feels off in ai pictures and i cant really pin down what it is. But when i see one i can just spot it for some reason.
Btw isnt this also true vice versa? With the way technology is today(even disregarding nuclear) you could completely destroy your oponents navy if you have hypersonic missiles which, if i understand correctly, a lot of countries have considering how effective they are

The problem is, you cant check the ai’s sources in most cases. Id also say blindly trusting wikipedia and the internet is a huge problem nowadays. Wikipadia only has a few dozen instances of there being mass manipulation of facts but for example twitter, tiktok, etc are a huge breeding ground for misinformation. So no you shouldnt blindly rely on wikipedia/internet the same way you shouldnt rely on ai. Also the other thing is, if every time you search the internet you kill one turtle then eveey question asked to an ai is like killing a thousand…
