I can only imagine. I think there’s few cities that have undergone such a transformation as has paris in the last 10 years. It’s lovely to see. But all the anger that people have felt from that is probably almost exclulively projected onto her. She’s the lonely reason for alll the hardships that the carbrained old people in Paris have to endure. That’s what they feel everyday.
I think she should have a Car-only-day before the election where everyone who switched to a bike is driving by car for the day. The resulting chaos would be a nice reminder for what the city has gained in lofe quality during the last decade.
It’s easy to get accustomed to improved circumstances like more bike travel. But people seldomly forget if something has negatively affected them - especially if it was caused in some remote way by her policies.

The Federation would provide a great tool of figuring out the best way to build trust. A reputable server will only let people join if they are in some way reputable. Servers that let scammers flourish will become defederated. If course servers have to be comparable in size. If there’s one server with 90% of users it doesn’t work that well.

Today people who self-identify as conservative are basically all assholes with a deep hatret towards dignity, humanity, society and nature. They’re proud to be assholes, they’re vice-signalling.
But the actual word - “conservative” - it has lost all meaning. What are they “conserving”? They’re against environmentalism. I’d like to “conserve” nature so that future generations may still live on it. Am I now conservative? They want to burn everything down even the things they claim to uphold. They yell about freedom of speech and ban books at the same time. They shit on rules and all long-standing conventions, norms and just basic human tactfulness. What things are they “conserving”? The word has lost all meaning and means just bigoted loud asshole today.
Generell hat die reddit-situatiin dazu geführt, dass ich einfach weniger Zeit damit (reddit+lemmy) verwende. Auch nicht unbedingt schlecht, denn ehrlich gesagt ist nur ein geringer Zeitanteil davon wirklich sinnvoll. Vielleicht ist das auch bei anderen so. Ist nicht unbedingt schlechter.

Wow! Congratulations! It’s really weird - I feel like going back to reddit, because it looks and feels exactly like when I used Reddit back when it was awesome to do - through sync… But it’s not reddit. Kinda tells me how much of my “Reddit experience” was actually not Reddit, but sync.

Every color that we see is created by different types of receptors being stimulated together. A linear combination of three of these types. Arguably there isn’t really a wavelength that only stimulates one type of receptor exclusively as their absorbtion areas overlap - so it isn’t even that precise to call one receptor the “green” receptor as it sees a continuum of wavelength (of which a lot are also detected by the (so-called) “red” receptor.
It’s a little egg-and-hen-problem with the naming here.a way out of it would be to only speak about spectra if it’s in the physical realm and color of its in the percetral realm.
