Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is set 11 months after the previous game. Sam Bridges, now living a quiet life with his BB (bridge baby) Lou, finds himself in Mexico following a request from Fragile.

He came back to life at the end when he connected to him one last time at the incinerator, if i remember correctly.
The game doesn’t have multiple endings does it? The one I got did some weird timey wimey bullshit and implied that Sam was Lou all along.
Sam wasn’t lou, but he was another bridge baby when he was a baby himself, and the memories he was seeing everytime he connected to lou weren’t lou’s memories, but his own. I think what happened is that cliff sensed his son, saw sam with a bb and assumed that that was his bb, not realizing that sam was actually his son, all grown up now, but he finally gets it at the end. (I should probably mark this shit as spoilers at this point but not sure how to do that with lemmy lol)
