I think the first star wars movie was also kind of created as an anti war film against the vietnam war. The empire is the usa and the rebel alliance the vietcong if i remember correctly. could also just be that it was some interpretatiom by some guy

The absolute easiest way for me in general is Stremio + a Debrid service (ala Real-Debrid). Not only is it super safe and simple, but the UI of Stremio is way more user friendly than most actual streaming platforms.
Admittedly there is a fee for a debrid service, but it pays for itself in about 45 minutes.

1337x.to has an internal search, and so long as you’re getting magnet links to .avi files (or other pure media files) there is very low risk of anything. Download through a VPN if your country cares about that. I use qbittorrent as the application for downloading.
