STATLER: They’re a bunch of no talent hacks? Tell us something we didn’t know!
WALDORF: They aren’t half bad.
STATLER: Nope, they’re ALL bad!
DOHOHOHOHOHO
I approve of this post.

Statler and Waldorf are my homies!
What about the two old guys up in the balcony, always shitting on everything? That doesn’t seem like joy… Though I suppose they do enjoy being assholes 🤔
I dunno man, Animal once beat Dave Grohl in a drum-off…
The only competent one is Scooter (you remember, he’s the orange guy with the green jacket and clipboard), who somehow keeps things together but shuns any kind of fame or recognition.
The Muppet Movie (1979) is about Kermit living his best life in a swamp until a talent agent rowing through heard him sing and recommend he try his hand at a career in Hollywood.
So Kermit goes on a road trip and builds his Muppet family along the way, adding new Muppets as he befriends them. By the time they get to Hollywood, they’re just a rag-tag group of misfits, looking for a chance at making a film. They’re not professionals, they’re not particularly skilled. They’re just determined to live their dream and get their big break.
The movie itself is a film within a film. It’s Kermit’s autobiography, showing his whole journey to Hollywood. It literally opens with all of the Muppets sitting down in a theater to watch the film.
How is Cookie Monster not good at living in a bin and eating cookies?
My friends and I play rec volleyball and we lose 90% of our games but I don’t think any of us want to quit because we have so much fun fuckin around with each other while we try our best to actually play well.
