Is anyone here so hardcore that they don’t even bother with mainstream social media? If its not on Lemmy or Mastodon it must not be important? Anyone that hardcore?

        Well, it’s a VPS subnet (I use VPN). And I live in a country that is slowly becoming like N. Korea (and it has common border).

          One of three countries. I imagine it’s the one that created Sputnik. I have a couple of friends from there and have heard about the restrictions on the internet, but like the Great Firewall of China many people know how to bypass it.

            You guessed it right. There are several effective circumvention methods. But unfortunately VPN/VPS subnetworks are often used for malicious activity so some services restrict access form such nets.
