I just a video of a cop body slamming a skinny guy onto concrete just because he wouldn’t put his hand behind his back. He didn’t do anything threatening. His hand was visible the whole time and he simply didn’t move. And as soon as he’s body slammed another cop shows up frame, so there were two large cops present and couldn’t detain a skinny ass mf peacefully. Was later revealed he had nothing to do with the reported crime. Many of the comments are supporting the victim but of course there are plenty of comments saying he deserved to get vertebrae damage because he didn’t automatically comply with a brute thug who refused to use his mouth to explain what his suspicion was.

Another video, a random car shot fireworks at a group of teenagers and children on their porch and one of them got burned. There were many comments saying that they should make a police report, but then there are replies saying that the kids don’t deserve help because the instance was “not a big deal”, and cops have “bigger things to worry about,” or that it would be too expensive to go after a “petty” crime.

I’m aware that their purpose is to protect capitalists, blah blah blah. But I just don’t understand the contrarian callousness of observers. Do these people aspire to have the immunity of cops and punish those who they perceive wronged them? Even if you lay completely flat on the ground and don’t move or say at all and get shot 10 times, there will be thousands of people who say the suspect deserved it.

And mind you, the victims were white or mostly white in the two examples I mentioned here. Obviously it would be more vitriol if they weren’t, but there’s a breed of bootlickers who aren’t cops who just love seeing them hurt or kill or ignore people in need of help. The only other place where I’ve seen this nihilistic sentiment was on 4chan gore threads. Even on LiveLeak you’d see people express condolences for victims of hitmen or freak accidents lol.
