I wonder when NZ will move away from the quasi-free-market-but-funded-by-the-government system in health (and education). It leads to outcomes like this which are clearly inefficient. I’d like to see more centralisation.

Yes totally agreed, the tech is there. Many questions can be answered by AI.
I also thought the other day about continously screening of feces in toilet pipes for traces of blood to detect colon cancer earlier. A bit weird but should be possible, and much easier than the current process of scraping stuff out of the toilet…
