We had these “reward bucks” or whatever when I was in elementary school that you could trade in for prizes. They were printed on a special blue paper. I found the teacher’s blue paper stash and stole a few sheets. Took them home and tried copying the reward bucks I had earned. Paper jam. Spent an hour trying to clear it before the mom got home and found what I was up to.

I forget how i was punished, but that’s the first moment I started believing in karma.
