Finnish police have arrested the Russian Yan Petrovsky, a leader of neo-Nazi paramilitary group “Task Force Rusich,” who is wanted in Ukraine on suspicion of committing war crimes in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions in 2014–2015. According to media reports, Kyiv has already requested Petrovsky’s extradition.
Hmm…I wonder what the backstory is… Like was he living in Finland or came from another Schengen country? 🤔 AFAIK, Russian tourists are banned now from entering the country.
“Petrovsky, who was born in Irkutsk (Russia), moved to Norway in 2004. He was later stripped of his Norwegian permanent residence and deported in 2017.”
