Can confirm this happens. My ex-flatmate was struck by lightning on a sunny day in Florida, knocked unconscious and suffered from some internal burns. Also her eyes glowed faintly for the following week (enough to be seen in the dark).

The iris, blazing green (much more green then they usually are). We don’t know how it happened to this day.
