Years ago I had an interview with GoFundMe and as part of the interview process they wanted me to create a campaign and share it with family and friends. Then they asked for feedback on their website. I told them how disgusting that was to ask of me (I didn’t do it) and never heard back.

I think it’s pretty clear that opinion was based on what I said in my comment, not the timeframe in the post. I also said “I’m not sure if” and “or what” so it’s not like I was making that claim definitively. I obviously have no insight into what’s happening behind the scenes but this is day 2 of constant spam and it’s the only community I’ve seen it on so far.
That community was getting flooded with really shady links with NSFW titles all day yesterday. Not sure if it’s just completely unmoderated or what but I just blocked it entirely.
From is on MGM+ (I think the first season is free on Prime still?) It’s like a more horror version of Lost set in a very small town. Not saying that just because of the lead actor. It’s really, really good. I binged it on a free trial for MGM.

Agreed with your second sentence. Though I think the state should step in to help the kids in either instance. If they’re convicted and are in prison it’s trying to get blood from a stone at that point.
