The only comic of hers that I’ve found morally objectionable was years ago now, and framed around complaining about her kids.

It had thousands of downvotes (on reddit) and all the comments were calling her out for being entierly responsible for her situation as a parent, and telling her to suck it up and step up because bitching out her kids like that was damaging them, unproductive and absolutely not funny.

Out of the thousands of comic panels of hers that I’ve seen, that’s really not a bad track record at all.

The bpd behaviour these guys all present with, isn’t something that just hijacks them over night either.

That ‘I hate you, don’t leave me’ pattern is so easy to spot for anyone who’s experienced it before, and I don’t think it’s hyperbolic to say that most women have experienced cruel and jealous male partners.

It’s darkly ironic that borderline personality disorder has been stereotyped as a female condition as it really seems so much more prevalent and dangerous in men.

My favourite new album of 2024 was definitely Mahal by Glass Beams. It’s all I listened for months on end last year, and I’m still very much in love with it.

Their sound is this rich, old meets new psychedelic funk, with a rolling bass and a shoegaze like fullness to it that just flows so beautifully.

I’ve had AMERICAN MOTOR SPORTS on my list to listen to for ages now, so many people have mentioned it being good. I’m really going to have to get out of my rut of current songs on repeat and put it on.
