  • Cypher system has a similar mechanic. You have 3 basic stat pools, and apply “effort” from them to make your tasks easier (i.e. lower difficulty of skill checks). These pools are also your “HP” and are reduced by different types of damage. When a pool is emptied you are debilitated in some way, when all 3 are empty you die.

You can really feel your effectiveness lessen throughout an adventuring day, and it makes your life total more of a resource to manage.

All of your apps have been spammed in the month since I’ve joined, and it’s always annoying. It’s just another app’s turn.

It’s weird being a fanboy for an app, and making a post touting it’s virtues in response to another app’s release. Like you’re worried it’s going to feel jealous and left out.

I’ll be adding this community to the blocklist with every other app’s I’ve come across today that seems to be making insecure, ‘pick me’ posts.

  • Another post about this where people didn’t read the article, but jump to anti-American conclusions. This story is about American politicians arguing semantics. The article says that America does contribute to a fund that was agreed upon by many countries in a summit in Egypt. Whether that is fair is debatable, but America is paying in to it.

Every country is refusing to use the term “reparations” because it implies legal guilt, and no country wants to get “sued” by the world.

Again, this is a pointless argument about semantics, and what term to use.

  • Seems odd to be copying others posts to prevent it from being deleted, when I’ve seen so many users here proudly say they’ve been nuking all their posts and comments to sow confusion in web searches and prevent reddit from “using their content”.

I think the repost bots are awkward. Seeing so many posts in “hot” and “new” with zero comments makes the site feel dead. I don’t want to engage with a bot, and it makes it very difficult to find real, user generated content when most feeds are clogged with bot-copied text posts.
