An update black screened his system and corrupted his time shift backups. So he gave Linux Mint a shot and has been using it for several weeks.

He has switched to Linux Mint instead

I held back the amd microcode from the update and it worked. Although now it says I’m pop shop update the I have firmware to install, not the microcode.

Anyway, I’m happy I’m back up and running.

It gets stuck after post is displayed. After post, it just goes black and then nothing comes through the monitors

They were throttling the processor so it didn’t ask for more power than the aging battery could deliver. If they didn’t do this on aging batteries your phone would just shut off. They got busted for not telling people clearly that this is what was happening.

I’ve been doing legion events which grant great xp with some good drops at that level. I’ve also been cleaning up the strongholds as they are always set to 2 levels above your level. This brings the level down to you in WT3. Eg. at 51 they should all be lvl 53 content for you and not 55+
