2 years agoThere was, I signed up for it and I never received anything. And then the disk drive on my PS3 went to pot and disabled the whole device. Sony can’t design hardware for shit.

2·2 years agoI made it to the fourth book (or was it the fifth?) many years ago before I gave up. There are better book series that require less effort to understand, and that don’t antagonize the reader.

I live in the middle of nowhere, near a flat piece of road that’s around 1/2 mile long. The deep ditches along both sides collect V6 Mustangs like upholstery collects cat hair.
It’s facepaint, and it comes off with soap and water.
8·2 years agoAbsolutely, and I’m looking forward to it. I’ll be the fossil holding up the entire self-checkout lane because the retinal scan can’t see past my cataracts, and not one of these kids can stop me!
I only found out a few years ago that Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm by Crash Test Dummies was commonly regarded as one of the worst songs of the 90s, but it reminds me of middle school and summers at the pool. Same with Sex And Candy by Marcy Playground.
5·2 years agoI’m more than a little sad to see it happen but it was only a matter of time. At least we can still download past purchases and play multiplayer.
I’m about halfway through the first book. First time through the series. Better late than never, I suppose.
Still better than the best.
10·2 years agoElden Ring. I was looking forward to a more mainstream Dark Souls with a story written by GRRM, but it turns out I just don’t jive with those games at all, no matter how polished they are.
This was track #1 on my work from home playlist back in 2020. Such a weird time.
11·2 years agoI had thought that the Iowa Caucus losing its first-in-the-nation status would keep these leeches out of the state but now I guess the Fair is their excuse to saddle up the clown car.
Oh no. Please don’t leave. We’re totally begging you.
I don’t care if it has the same framerate as traditional animation, if your CGI movie is less than 30 fps it looks cheap and gives me a headache.
It’s not worth the price, financially or morally.
