The way I understand it, there’s 2 use cases for a VPN, with different concerns and providers:

• having access to your private home network from anywhere, through an encrypted tunnel (Tailscale, Wireguard on the router, etc)
• having your outgoing traffic to the internet go through an anonymized exit node so that your ISP can not watch or sell what you are doing (ProtonVPN, Mullvad VPN, etc)

Is Tailscale fit for the second? I thought not, as the exit node is not an anonymized VPN server but one of your own machines.

The resistance you mean is B/P/S damage from a non-magical weapon. Any source of damage that is not a weapon bypasses that.

So yeah, in the case of a needles fireball, make it damage from a non-magical weapon.

I’m sorry for being pedantic. I hate these rules too but this is how they’re written. Pathfinder 2E ends up a lot simpler if you use a VTT (Foundry VTT is amazing, and has no recurring costs).

This sounds nice for someone in a developed country who has all they need, and is only satisfying their wants. But for most of the world, economic development is a necessity and a lifesaver. Child mortality is reduced, life expectancy and education level increased, child labor decreased, as a country’s economy grows. This is not a fringe right-wing idea. This is the very real effect of economic growth in developing countries, i.e. most of the world.

Degrowthers often seem to forget that applying their ideas will literally kill millions in developing countries, by preventing the economic developments that would have saved them.

FWIW, I am not a fan of unbridled capitalism either but think that it is important to consider science in important matters like this and not just go with gut feeling. That applies to both fascism and degrowth.
