I’d gone a little spur on Star Wars after the rise of skywalker.
Honestly it felt like a return to form in many ways, and a little bit of a fuck you to RoS, “here’s how you do a map macguffin!”.

It may be the mug shot effect, maybe its the treason… but i swear, all of them have the worst fucking posture.
Easy: doing so would cost too much money, for not enough profit gain.
Aka, there isn’t enough competition between airlines
Is it the ego feeding or keeping Twitter (“X”) front of mind? Kind of like 2010 lady gaga constantly one upping herself to stay in the news (meat dress anyone?)
Given this is nearly a full week before launch - pretty good sign.
The same shit from governments everywhere.
Fix housing or draw 25 bullshit policies.
Firefox currently enjoys protection from being “relatively niche” in the browser market (aka not Chromium based trash).
But if I had to place a bet on which browser would put effort in to protecting your privacy, including which extensions are installed, my bet would be on Firefox over Chrome.
Oof, 10 series GPUs being left behind.
This only applies if a username is a email
And if it is then what happens when people actually email someone? Autocorrect during login?
It’s stories like this that don’t surprise me as much as make me ask: How the fuck do you store and process this much data to get anything useful out of it.
Which is a possible future.
But it’s less likely if more people use Firefox.
Install Firefox.
The article is about an artist hired by Wizards using AI for paid work. AI work currently sits in a weord space with respect to copyright.
Wizards of the coast really like copyright and getting to enforce it.
Man, is even the blogspam AI written now?
The people have spoken, and shockingly republicans spent a fuck load of the tax payers money to be sure that they didn’t misspeak.
I’m sure that everyone who was raging at Sync over the last few days, stating that all software should be FOSS have all made significant contributions to the Lemmy devs.
FOSS is pretty bloody great, and one of the greatest things about the modern IT industry. But FOSS doesn’t pay a mortgage.
To be clear: I have contributed to Lemmy, and will likely pay a lifetime fee for Sync sooner or later.
Ok, I got it wrong guys
Chrome has won
Let’s all go home, install a Chromium-based spyware-laced browser and bow down to our Google overlords.
There is very little work that LLMs (“AI”) can do without supervision.
They might seem like a magic bullet, but in reality of you have to keep someone on to supervise the LLM… why not just have them do the work properly.
