My buddy is a small scale builder and he’s on the sidelines currently. They have a few lots to build on in a subdivision. He’s decided not to start for fear that his margin is going to evaporate or worse he’s going to have to carry them. Carrying inventory will kill your business as a builder. He’s even contemplating selling the lots since there is some cost in taxes and maintenance, though nowhere near the costs of an improved property.
Say it out loud! Say it…(very quietly)
But no links, even though the Guardian article has a ton of links to tangential subjects mentioned in the article.
I’m not sure why you’re being so heavily downvoted, you’re absolutely right. Neither the Yahoo article nor the Guardian article it’s based on did the legwork to back up the premise. To drown out the misinformation, journalists need to bring the facts, else they leave the narrative open to bad faith criticism. I don’t see where you’ve advocated for the morons in the least, just asked that journalist’s do their jobs.
A “think tank” and Prager U should never be confused. There is no thinking going on at Prager U.
No comment on this lawyer’s standing, but class action suit’s standing, claim that the class members have been injured in the same or similar ways as the lead plaintiff. The lead plaintiff is suing for a direct injury.
This is why they rail so hard against education too, in hopes that their “baffle them with bullshit” methods will work.
Absolutely, sometimes having the discussion is the best you can do. At least it exposes more citizens to the fact the institution is corrupt and in need of oversight. From there hopefully the pressure grows, or at least the realization that this was done intentionally and the lesson learned for the future.
This, Apple is shitty for not advancing a standard. Can you imagine if every appliance came with some proprietary cable so you would be incentivized to stay with one brand to minimize hassle. We’d never stand for that, but for some reason we as consumers didn’t demand standardization in this realm. It’s a fast moving industry to be sure, but I don’t really see how that precludes standardization and that is evidenced by all the non Apple equipment that has settled on USB.
For your future use:
What… It was just a few minutes of political action. Let the kids be kids.
How are the feds not on this?
You’re including the US among those “similar nations” right?
For once prison is going to be the most fitting punishment for the crime.
Elon gonna engineer the shit outta this thing. Nevermind coil steel itself varies by more than that before it goes into a die and stretches. It’s almost like he doesn’t have any background in automotive manufacturing. This statement makes me think Elon may not know what a micron even is. The fit and finish of Tesla’s current offerings seems to evidence it anyway.
Yeah, it’s British money, weird conversion I know.
A stone is 14 pounds. So, 210.
That plumber made up whole new swears while installing that toilet.
And this is why the rule is every time you pick up/are handed a gun you check the chamber. Even if you just watched your buddy do it. Also, firearm safety for a four year old is “Stop, don’t touch, tell an adult.”
