In Germany, driving with a manual is pretty standard. Although I did a special driving license (B197) which allows you to learn driving on a manual for 10 lessons and then switch to automatic for the rest of the course and the driving exam while still being allowed to drive a manual. It’s pretty new tho. I did it because I really sucked at shifting. I now drive a manual and I’d say I’m okay with it although I’d really prefer an automatic.

Ich finde auch die Ausrede, nicht mehr von Thomas Jensen, ein Festival für Musik, das von Provokation lebt, ohne provokante Bands zu veranstalten. Rechtsextremismus hat nicht toleriert zu werden. Dann lad Mayhem halt nicht ein, dann vermisst es auch niemand. Potenziell geht auf Dauer vielleicht irgendwann n gewisses Publikum weg, aber so schnell, wie die Tickets weg waren, würde ich schon davon ausgehen, dass das recht egal wäre.

Mint is definitely not overrated. It has done much for the community because they created a distro that is easy to understand if you switch to Linux, easy to maintain and mostly works out of the box. Also they don’t use snap.

Ich sags mal so: Ich finds manchmal tatsächlich ganz schön, zur Arbeit zu gehen, arbeite aber auch an der Schnittstelle zwischen direkter Arbeit mit Jugendlichen und Bürotätigkeit, und ich rede auch einfach verdammt viel mit Kolleg:innen. Meine Bürotätigkeit wäre teils wirklich schwerer online zu lösen, weil ich die Jugendlichen eben mit einbeziehe und die bei Terminen fragen muss. Unser Teamleiter hingegen hat zu corona hier und da mal von zuhause gearbeitet, hat aber natürlich auch wesentlich mehr zu tun.
