I feel like if a cop came by a few times and saw you still going around they would probably pull you over just to see if you’re having an episode or something, then probably tell you to go home. I think you’d only really get in trouble if you were a dick about it.

  • Maybe there’s some kind of debris in the case causing it not to charge properly? Check that the contacts on the buds themselves are clean? Are you charging the case with the charger that came with the earpods or are you using a third party charger?

That’s all I can think of that would be easy solutions, otherwise yeah it might just be a bad set of earpods 🤷‍♂️

I use Raycons. My first set lasted like 5 years before they had any issues and I finally had to replace them last year

  • It sounds like the employees are the bottom level of some kind of scam. A company that has so little faith in itself that it forces their employees to act as customers is either on the verge of ruin or just completely unethical. They’re definitely getting some kind of kick backs from this.

I’m sure they have found some kind of shitty technical loophole that makes it legal somehow, but you might still report it anonymously to the employment commission since it is 100% unethical and a serious conflict of interests.

Either way if possible find somewhere else to work as soon as you can. Once these people have bilked you out of as much of your paycheck as they can they will decide your no longer a valuable company asset
