I don’t get many scam calls or bill collectors anymore. The trick is that you ONLY do it when they call you. In other words don’t call them and harass them. If it’s a legit company it might even be illegal for that company to make their employees call someone that sexually harasses their employees. Also if it’s a woman i usually describe the smell of the genitalia. Otherwise it’s the same.

A lot of Indian dudes are homophobic as hell. To add to the awkwardness of the conversation I lower my voice to make it real deep. Then I say each word slowly and breathy. That way I know they hear me and each word kind of hangs there for a second.

Heh, my maternal grandmother told me that when guys would come to pick her up for a date. One of her brothers would answer the door and tell the dude she was taking a shit, and would be down in a min.

She also said that one time she got drunk off of some cider that they kept in the barn. She said her and her friend got super drunk and puked all over the living room then passed out. I know that I’m going to get hate for this. I always do. I was a huge fan of Metallica. Whether it was “and justice for all, master of puppets, ride the lightning, kill em all, or their self titled album aka the black album. I even got garage days.

Then Load came out, and I knew something was wrong. It was ok but wasn’t up to their usual standards. It was the same feeling I got when I heard Korn’s fallow the leader. Also, an ok album but not up to their previous quality.

Anyway, I don’t remember which came first Napster or Reload. But, living in that time and experiencing it first had. It was like watching your hero become the villain.

You can argue that artists deserve to get paid for their work, and they do. But at the time Metallica was signed to Warner bros. record company. Warner Bros. is who was really getting paid for their CD sales. Of course now they have bought back all their tracks and have their own record company. It’s a different story.

Anyway, I literally haven’t bought a Metallica album since Load, and have refused to listen to them since. Most of the time the bad guys win.

Fuck Metallica.

Broken? What are you talking about? My dad started leaving me home alone for weeks at a time at age 12. By age 16 it was months at a time, and my house became the place where other kids came to hang out. I graduated college, or University. Then became a heroin addict. My family stopped talking to me because of this thing called “tough love”. Now, I’m all better and have my own family with kids and a partner, but my dad and sister wonder why I won’t let them be a part of it (my mom died when I was 8).

I’ve been a house husband for the past almost 10 years. I get paid to cook, clean, take care of kids, and play video games. If I leave she’s stuck with a special needs kid all alone.

On the other side. I haven’t worked in almost 10 years so my resume is lacking. So, we definitely have reasons to stay together, and not fuck it up, but our situation isn’t typical.

I have a 1L TAL bottle from Wally World. I’ve had it about 3 years. Granted I don’t use it much. I use it when I go deep forest fishing. I fill it up with water and ice. Then clip it to my backpack tackle box. The poor bastard is beat to hell. It’s dented and some of the paint has chipped off where the dents are. But it holds water, and keeps it cold.

So, I started dating before the internet. Yeah yeah, I’m old, I know. Anyway, I always had this feeling of what if my partner finds someone better?

Now with the internet people from all over the world are at your fingertips. Now, I feel like “this person could literally be with anyone in the world, but they chose to be with me”.

But, also, in it’s most basic form a relationship is a situation where you find someone, and decide that you can put up with their bullshit, and hope they feel the same. I’m old enough, and have dated enough to know. All those people that you think are hot. Do gross ass shit behind closed doors, or some embarrassing ass shit.

So, maybe you put up with her always wanting you to hang out with her while she poops. Meanwhile she puts up with your god awful laugh. Y’all do this because you know it can be so much worse, and besides the sex is good, and they have good taste in whatever interests y’all share.

And for those of you that say I don’t do gross, or embarrassing stuff. Either you’re lying or delusional. We may call ourselves “humans” to make ourselves feel better, but we are disgusting animals that have to learn how to act, and most of the time the training is incomplete.

Well, I hope it does help them. After all, no one deserves to suffer unnecessarily. If there is a treatment then that’s good.

There are a lot of things that make me question the validity of what is said in that paper, but honestly I’m not really interested in debating your hope for your loved ones.

Thank you for responding. I agree with a lot of what you said. The parts I don’t agree with mainly have to do with a lack of faith in in the US government to do what’s right. In other words. I think they will start charging for vaccines when they decide the losses will be acceptable. Which will probably be long before it’s on par with the flu.

But, I’d just like to point out that with socialized medicine. We wouldn’t even be having this conversation.

Also, you didn’t have to answer your question about are they less effective if less people get them. I had already stated that. When I was saying that if people have to pay for them then less people get them making them less effective.

I am not trying to be antagonistic. I genuinely want to know, and you’re the only person that has responded to me.

Why is it that when I point out that eventually we are going to be paying for these vaccines no one responds anymore?

The cheapest flu vaccine I could find was $40. Flu vaccines have been around for decades. Plus when I asked the pharmacist how much a flu vaccine costs. He said “if you don’t have insurance we can probably get it down to about $40”.

I’m not going to be able to afford 4 $100 corona vaccines for my family.

Why would I be wanting socialized healthcare (see first comment)? Then be concerned about what the government spends on developing a new vaccine.

What? When I said how much it will cost the American people. I meant individually. How much will it cost ME to get the new vaccine? I can’t afford a tooth filling, and if you think corona vaccines will be free forever. You are sorely mistaken.
