I don’t have experience with dual GPU laptops but from what I’ve heard PopOS handles them really well. They also have an image with the nvidia drivers preinstalled which should make the setup process straightforward

Edit: I also found this github repo which documents some fixes for issues on that device specifically. Not sure how many of these have been patched upstream by now but it’s worth checking out.

I agree, I think a materialist perspective in the realm of political thought is key, but as for people’s personal lives they can believe what they wish about the nature of the universe outside of that. So long as the org is secular and people are applying a materialist philosophy in their analysis of the natural world here then it’s completely compatible

Because evolution isn’t an intelligent or designed process, it’s largely random changes where the things that work lead to better survival rates. So it doesn’t matter that animals with more types of cone cells can see them easily, the adaptation was favorable for prey stalking so those are the only group of animals whose sight affected the tigers survivability.
