I think keeping it in people’s minds is useful. Otherwise it’s easy to get wrapped up in your day to day life. I’ve found that climate stories are often under reported here or categorised as another issue.

I’m with you, I’ve started referring to it with this name. It’s apt, we’re in a current crisis not a situation that we will only see effects from generations from now. I talk to a lot of people who seem to think this is a next generation problem, even the current young generation.

This is the problem, people have been quietly talking about this issue and trying to convince people for decades. Barely anything has happened. Protest is supposed to be inconvenient. Not sure whether this type to protest works, but the quiet, passive way certainly doesn’t.

We do need action on all levels of society, and we need to be treating this as a crisis.

On a local level (in the UK) there are a lot more community and Council groups being setup to try and find solutions I would absolutely recommend attending those.

Other than that, ensure your pension is invested in green and eco investments and try to fly less (maybe even drive less).

Yeah it’s so tricky, people seem to assume that you should have a great relationship with your parents, I certainly don’t . Instead, treat yourself nicely this weekend!
