Do you have any friends outside the home you trust and can stay with, short term? Cops aren’t going to be useful, here. They’re not CPS or mental health caregivers and they’ll probably just take you back home to your dad.

Capitalism today looks nothing like capitalism in the 1950s. Back then, a family could easily survive on the income of one person. With money left over to pay for college education, a car and a house.

That is not the situation today, where most Americans have NO retirement savings. Unless you’re redefining what capitalism IS, then that’s a problem caused by the people in charge (oligarchs).

A good sense of humor helps a lot. Also, if you want to avoid getting bogged down by nonsense, it’s a good idea to develop your critical thinking skills. That depends on having good sources of information that you trust.

There’s a huge difference between capitalism and oligarchy. What we have is oligarchy. All the worst parts of capitalism. 19th century robber-baron “capitalism.”

Karl Marx said a lot of things about socialism and collectivism a hundred years ago, but he’s not in charge anymore. The rich oligarchs who replaced him are saying this. We have people in this country who claim to be “christians” who literally elected the anti-christ. Trump embodies ALL the seven deadly sins, but those folks are just fine with it. So let’s quit pretending that belief systems can’t be exploited.
