The name “Perfidious Albion” is more than 800 years old. You should not be surprised by our bullshit.
The rubber bands are also made in china.
Sib please get on a fucking bus once in your life. You are not allowed to smoke on them, marijuana or no.
Well no, if you wanted to keep the discussion to marijuana then you should have stuck to actual criticisms of the drug instead of criticising potential consequences of misuse, which can apply to a lot of things. Driving unimpaired also kills innocent people, do you think driving should be banned?
So you’re also arguing alcohol should be banned?
I’m not implying anything, I’m telling you why your denial is unbelievable: you haven’t said anything to imply you regret being racist, you’re just brushing it under the carpet as something you thought was funny. That’s not what people who aren’t racist say.
Looks like once I used a pejorative term, just because I found it amusing (without knowing it was a racial slur in some countries).
Maybe if you showed any sort of contrition instead of continually providing excuses as to why it’s not a problem people would believe it was just a mistake.
Personally, the JRPGs I enjoy have something chess-like to the combat - each character has their own way of acting, and you have to balance their actions around the turn order and enemy’s actions. Throw in some rock-paper-scissor elements and an ult mechanic like limit breaks or summons and it creates enough considerations to keep me interested in planning out both the current and future turns without it turning into an overwhelming amount of micromanaging.
No, toilets have charges because shitting and pissing are necessary human bodily functions but doing it in public is illegal, so they have a monopoly on where you can piss or shit and can make you jump through basically whatever hoops they want in order to access their facilities. Nobody needs to go to Venice, Edinburgh, or Barcelona, but millions do every year because of the history and culture they can only access there.
Have you tried Ursula Le Guin? Her Earthsea stuff really grabbed me when I was younger.
Gonna be real, if your entire knowledge base is that you’ve heard that there are fees for entering cities then you really do need to do some googling. A lot of tourist destinations in europe charge tourism taxes in a variety of forms, and can because they are worth travelling to.
It also depends on what you consider to be cheap and worth travelling for. Eastern Europe is pretty cheap and great for WWII buffs or hikers, but not so good for people just looking to party. Amsterdam has plenty of food and culture and is cheaper than Stockholm, but still more expensive than somewhere like Lisbon.
Maybe sort out your own communication before making snide comments about other people’s.
NGL Kung Fu Hustle kills me every single time, and has only gotten better as I’ve gotten older and understood more of the references. One of very few movies that successfully pull off the feeling of a live action cartoon.
Physically yes, but then you run afoul of skateboarding philosophy and whether it counts if you’re just sliding around on your feet instead of the board.
One of my friends used to have a pair, apparently they were pretty fun for a while but wore out too quickly so he just kept skateboarding.
If you have the various cables you might be able to connect it to a screen via HDMI and a mouse via USB on-the-go, but otherwise it’s gonna have to be a screen replacement. You might be able to get a really cheap one that won’t last long, but will let you get data onto a computer.
Elves canonically see in a flat plane, which is why they’re able to navigate to Valinor across the straight road, which is west of the grey havens ignoring the world’s curvature.
harrassing fascists out of your community when the admins won’t do anything is good actually.
Two that I found very easy to understand just from the battle maps were the Emerald Spire and the Abomination Vaults, as both have a central recurring feature to orient yourself by - the titular spire and the Gauntlight’s beam. It makes them a lot less sprawling than many classic megadungeons, but also lets me and the players easily work out how everything connects just by comparing its position to the central feature.
Disengage, we already have a thread for this.
