Back when I had free time I was reading through the Dune series, currently about halfway into God Emporer of Dune.

This sounds a lot more serious than a casual doctor’s visit in a couple weeks. If I were you, I would go to urgent care or maybe even the ER and not leave until they get you in to see a specialist. Take a family member to vouch for you if that would help.

During Covid my old job said they would be pausing all raises and cutting some costs to weather the storm. A couple months later they called a company wide meeting to announce record profits and that they would be providing a 20% raise . . . to the executives only. Then they got genuinely pissed when none one applauded them.

The article is really bad and confusing, but the very first statistics says only 10% are living with their defined financial freedom. It also doesn’t appear to provide any sources for this data.
