Can confirm. It’s nearly warm enough to break out my Capri jeans :-)

Sad to say, but that’s a familiar story.
It’s great that you’re now making efforts to right that sort of wrong now!
Please give her a hug from me. And if you happen to get a chance to stab her supervisor … well, I’ll not say do it, because that would be illegal. But sometimes accidents happen …
Yeah, that’s the thing, the majority if guys are OK or better … it’s just there’s enough arseholes to hold women and minorities back when there’s no or unenforced DEI
It’s very hard to not be polite when that’s how you’re raised to be from day one :-/
They break up a lot quicker if you run over them with a mower, which can also spread out the bits leaving a tidier looking lawn, thus keeping the HOA happy (maybe)
Yuuup. Woman in engineering here. I once had a supervisor whose behaviour I thought of as normal, but two guys I worked with separately reported him to HR for bullying after seeing how he treated me.
It’s funny, I had many years with almost no career progression, now my boss is a woman and I’m having to get used to the idea that bonuses and promotions are things that actually happen when I work hard.
I had that with a contractor who had had my number for work purposes. He kept trying for 5 years.
I’m a butch lesbian, my mistake was being polite and chatty with him.
Prey used heavy CGI for the wild animals, especially obvious in the scene with the bear.
First viewing I was blown away and thought it might be a top 10 movie for me, but it doesn’t feel so good with repeated viewings (while I still watch the original Predator every couple of years or so)
I enjoyed it, though it was very predictable and the sequel setup wasn’t necessary and induced an eye roll.
Thanks, I’ll give it a go :-)
Hi, I’m a left wing rather than right wing idiot. The BBC has proved itself an unreliable source plenty of times. They’re beholden to political influence (see today’s story about one of their staff not being allowed to talk about heat pumps because it’s a “political issue”)
Are the first two good?
The script, plot, most of the supporting acting, and directing of certainly the first two Lethal Weapons could have been so much better … I’m going to see how 3 does soon, though the last time I saw that was in a cinema, lol
I’ll add Pairnt Your Wagon to the list, thanks for the suggestion :-)
Even some old stinkers can be fun from time to time. Cat Ballou is objectively not a great film, but I enjoyed it recently … currently working my way through Lethal Weapon (just finished 2), which again is patchy in almost every way!
A change is as good as a rest, as they say.
Yeah, wouldn’t want the UK or Hungary to start making legal moves against LGBT people …
Really big bible?
Gender non-conforming lesbian here … this is totally going to be used against people like me, too.
I feel so sorry for young queers in the UK having to grow up with these sorts of attitudes, when I was at school it was Section 28 and I genuinely thought we’d got past that, but the fascist bigots never sleep!
Examples given in the media have been access to domestic violence help, changing rooms, support for rape victims, and clubs for gold-star lesbian arseholes who nobody in their right mind would want to be near anyway.
Blahaj user and former Brit here … well done Ada for consistency and transparency regarding this.
The whole “let it play out” attitude really says it all, it shows cowardice and a lack of leadership … kind of like the current prime minister.
