Too late, I already own all the Stellaris DLC, my bad choices have been made long ago

Not sure yet! I’ve not bought a lot of games recently, but I do enjoy large swathes of the strategy genre. Stellaris, Civ 5 and 6, Terra Invicta, Frostpunk, etc.

Oh I can imagine. Expect some pushback no matter which way that vote goes, people get real vocal about political content, especially US and double especially Trump related.

The absolute easiest way without having to use an external site would probably be to post 1 comment per option you want voted on, lock the post, and ask people to upvote the option they want. This also lets people vote for multiple options at once, for better or worse.

If you want to use an external site consider Strawpoll. Very quick and easy to set up.

I use the Warthog with 1-1-2-2-1 and Magnetic Pellet Alignment. It will kill common bugs with a single shot to the mouth at decent range, has a good firing rate, and the ammo is plentiful. You can use the turret whip to get stragglers on the ceiling out of your effective reach. It does struggle a bit with larger enemies, though, I admit.

Modding is the way

Differences in instance-level topical focus and moderation philosophy, for one. Also physical location and “vibe”.

There are a certain set of bigoted and/or extremist instances that I would judge an instance for not defederating from. There’s a reason I’ve stuck with .world even through some turbulence. Some heinous shit shouldn’t be tolerated by anyone.

I hope Lemmy eventually picks up more features like polls. I miss natively embedding polls.

The difference is in obscurity and vanity. Everyone online knows who Musk is, people outside Reddit (and even those on Reddit, some of them) don’t know who Spez is. The scale is different, and so are the severity and publicness of the negative changes. Like hell, a total site rebrand is a pretty noticeable thing.

EDIT: Case in point, everyone refers to him as Spez instead of his name, Steve Huffman.

Look at all of you, discussing “expert opinions” on our gutstones - buying specially made products as if the only source you need is not mere feet away, just out the window.

Take your gutstone from nature, as our ancestors once did. Connect fully with the trees and the air and the grass, feel it become part of you. The medicinal and spiritual benefits will become apparent in mere days.
