Oh god how did this get here I am not good with computer
OfficialPartner is another one. I had them and softwaresales posting spam in one of my communities.
I always heard that pearls/jade and n’joy were slower growing varieties of the original marble queen. I found that mine started to really take off after I pruned it back and stuck a couple of fertilizer sticks in the pot. I’ve also got a marble and I gotta say, it’s been keeping up with it growth-wise lately haha
In my opinion, that’s way better dude.

100% agree. I really enjoy the app and Kuro has done amazing work, but this logo misses the mark tbh. I’m definitely no graphics designer (just someone who knows enough to make shitty memes), but the alignment is all over the place with this logo.
Lemmy.ca has been defederated from Lemmygrad ever since I’ve been a member (June), so that’s not anything new. Looks like it goes back to at least September of last year.
Weird. I’m not getting hit by one. Maybe my ad-block is catching it.
Try this one (same story, different site):
They’re talking kind of three months in the summer and two to three weeks in the winter for skiing.
To drop 32 million on a house (which is mind bogglingly in and of itself) and only spend three months in it? Motherfuckers out there with way too much goddamn money. That’s ridiculous.
Looking at the pot, that’s legitimately the first idea I had if OP wants to go the malicious compliance route. I’d be tempted to build a table around the plant pot. Something like this (but for outdoors):
Wait, hold the fuck up. David Tennant is returning as another Doctor!? I haven’t watched much since the Matt Smith era, but how the hell does that work with the DW lore?
That’s a really cool idea! I wonder if they could’ve made it a bit more ergonomic though? Dude at 1:40 is having a tough time with his leg stretched that far. Maybe if the track was closer to the road or if the lift’s foot rest was wider?
Commuter Thunderdome - Two commuters enter, one commuter leaves (the car defeats the squishy human every time).
I struggled with this one even before I dropped it, so I feel your pain. Through some trial and error, I found that this guy likes lots of light and little water.
Light-wise, he’s in a east facing window that gets a ton of morning/early afternoon sun. Used to be in a spot that got direct sun but I had to move things around recently and it’s less direct now (so hopefully I haven’t jinxed it lol)
For watering, I know a lot of people say to do the “taco test” (i.e. fold the leaves gently and if they fold like a taco, then it’s time to water) but I found that was waiting too long between waterings. I just go on the weight of the pot now. I still wait until the soil is dry all the way through but not long enough that the leaves “taco”. I also feel like a shallow pot is super important. The grey cache pot is tall to allow hanging but the pot inside is only 2 inches deep (it’s a custom job, I cut a nursery pot in half). I’ve also found that it responds best to bottom watering because the water just kind of runs through if I go from the top.
I could be wrong about this (it’s the internet, I’m sure someone will correct me), but I think public perception of bike lanes in this city got kind of fucked because one of the previous city councils spent a ton of money without really explaining it properly and they were seemingly installing them on streets where they weren’t connected/doing much (this has got a lot better now).
So now the whole thing is just one of those “let’s blame this” kind of topics. Kind of like “we’d have better blahblah if they didn’t waste all the money on bike lanes”. Nimbyism is also really strong in this city.
Hey, that’s my city! I’m sad to say that I’m not overly surprised. I don’t know if it’s an everywhere thing, but there’s a vocal minority in Victoria that have a real stick up their ass about bike lanes.
Thanks for the work you guys do!
Changelog for anyone who’s interested.
That’s how you get wireless internet. You have to charge the internet before taking it with you.
Shitty? Bruh, that looks fucking delicious. I’d demolish that whole pan.
r/place is an interactive art project run by reddit on April Fools. It ran in 2017 and 2022. Now they’ve brought it back for 2023 (it was supposed to have happened on April Fools this year, but various…things…happened). It kicked off again today and as expected, it’s gained attention for the bad timing (protests, tone deaf admin, etc…) and people have coordinated to write “fuck spez” messages and other things (at some point, there was a guillotine + reddit’s head).
It’s probably not the answer you’re looking for, but depending where you live, periwinkle is considered an invasive species and it’s generally recommended to plant something else.
