The way publishing works, it is easy for Amazon to just check who is responsible for those books. Odd that they are not, I thought the US was a more litigious place.
That and gender-based rights and wages…
Yeah, I had to resort to the numbers and rereading to work it out, meaning the visualisation art is pretty much useless.
Its one of those “let’s look at how they treat men and women in these countries” situations too.
Mate, your money does still seem monochromatic to modern eyes. I use it when I visit, and the other notes don’t have that rainbow on them. I admit I am rarely exchanging more than fifty US at a time . I’m comparing those that I use to modern notes.
And security features? The shops there still accept cheques. I was surprised the economy still functioned when I found that out.
It talks about the benefits of recycling, and not how it is done…
All these minecraft jokes and this is who you pick on?
What surprises me is no way to carry the bucket away afterward; You would have to put your hand over the bucket, in the steam. Gloved or not, it does not seem very safe.
And here I thought all the American money seemed monochromatic.
Huh. Stuff I never expected to be unique to Oz.
Swimming with something that can’t get wet is not unheard of here. I sometimes swim a book over to somewhere to read, or a phone to a good place for a photo too.
…it’s blurry.
Very cool idea, though, and I see why it is being kept “under wraps”. Well done those designers!
Not seasonal, no. Took me a while to work out why orange… We don’t celebrate haloween much here, and definitely not for an entire month.
I am more likely to have a bottle of sunscreen come summer, and gloves in winter. But no christmas sunscreen or anything. Unless it was on sale.
I get a yearbook from my iphone camera without posting to anything, just from taking photos. Social media isn’t needed for that feature.
Coding is and always has been fad driven. The article admits Python and so on are more popular.
What an awful website, popups and videos all over the sodding place. Great story, no content, the headline says all. I would call this feral clickbait. Like the idea though.
Still odd to think of countries where voting is optional. It’s compulsory here, adn the only people who can afford to not vote are the rich…
I recommend trying something like AdNauseum or similar. I get the idea they haven’t reached us yet, only people reporting this are in the US so far.
As an Aussie, I don’t see why that is unusual. You use your feet. But if it’s only two icecreams, then you hold them both in one hand and swim with the other one. All I can say about this one though is that this is a very flat beach: Waves would ruin the icecream pretty bloody fast. Must be a river or something.
Do people not swim with icecreams in other countries?
I’m happy with the number of varieties of ciders and perris for sale here. And some nice wines, these days. Sometimes the trick is to switch from beer.
Suppressing the local language. Happened in Australia, the Americas, and so many other places. It’s a symptom of the overall racism.
