No, just verifying some things. Are you surprised? You asked that question like you would be surprised I’d say no.
Do you think the same thing for those living in China or Russia? What about those in Turkey or Hungary?
I couldn’t disagree more, so I guess that gets you an upvote.
Shut the fuck up Bill
Are all conversions done manually, or can it be done automatically? Have you done any kind of direct deposit with your account?
Thank you. Do you have any experience with them? My initial reaction (not saying it’s justified, just what it is) is concern about the fact that they are a fintech that is still relatively new in banking terms. Given the issues other fintechs have had and the general tech bro vibe around them I don’t think it’s entirely unreasonable to be weary of them, but I also know I can be overly cautious in my thinking with these things.
Regardless, the service appears to be exactly what I was thinking of so I will dig into them.
That is just horrendous. I am not a coder by trade or education, but I do a fair amount of it in my job. I may heavily use copy and paste, but I at least make sure it matches the structure of my current code, and I always include the URL to where I got it in a comment above the code.
The bikes I am looking to buy for the purpose of commuting over mixed terrain is in the $800-$1,400 price range (as of last year before tariff stuff). I don’t currently own a bike but I have owned and ridden a number of bikes in the past. The couple of hundred dollar bikes from like Walmart are just trash that don’t hold up. They fall apart pretty quickly under heavy riding.
All of this assumes one is buying new. If we are talking used then all of the above is somewhat a moot point.
Even within new the kind of riding matters a lot. If I know for a fact that I would only ever be riding on smooth paved roads then an old fixed frame street bike with skinny tires and very basic brakes and gears would make a lot of sense. There is zero chance that bike is going to be switching between road, grass, gravel, mud, and some of the other terrain I would be commuting across though.
All of those facts are irrelevant and distractions though. Assuming that is the case then he should have been tried according to the rules of this country. The point in concentrating on this isn’t about the individual, it’s about the implication and precedent that is being set for everyone in the future.
That’s OK. Now you know ☺️.
A friend who is a tech at a Costco pharmacy told me yesterday that they are expecting a shipment of the generic to arrive today. While my pharmacy has no ETA on the name brand and does not have access to the generic from their distributors as far as I have been able to surmise.
Are there any better alternatives? The only ones I’m aware of off the top of my head would be Samsung’s Exynos, Kirin, and MediaTek. From the little experience I have in the space it always struck me as Qualcomm being the least shitty option, not necessarily the best.
Can you elaborate on why? Like, I’m not surprised, I just am not involved in this space enough to know why.
I have a 512GB microSD card in my current phone that is about half full. I don’t have any interest in paying a subscription to store my stuff on someone else’s server (“the cloud”), when the SD card only cost me a couple of months of what a subscription would. I periodically back up the SD card at home.
As to what’s on it? The usual stuff like pictures and videos, but also game ROMs, call recordings, shows/movies, ISOs, utilities (I can make my phone appear to be a flash drive, bootable even). I also backup my texts and other records using a third party app. When I do have to swap phones, transferring the SD card over and then restoring stuff like settings, messages, records, etc is way faster than any of the OEM transfer tools.
I don’t think so, I see an old spoke wheel on Android running Liftoff.
Since the acronym for sociopath is ASPD, I will often respond with something like “nuh uh, mine has one less letter”. Pretty niche, but when someone gets it, so good.
Shit that’s good.
Kissinger lived to be 100 years old. It’s always the hateful ass holes that hang on forever.
