GitHub sponsorships are a way of donating to programmers. In addition to hosting lemm.ee, sunaurus has made significant contributions to Lemmy’s codebase. (In my opinion, he is by far the most skilled programmer working on Lemmy.)

Me too. I’ll take my salary now, please.
Edit: Lemmy stripped out my rickroll. :(
There is a real concern that getting too many boosters too frequently may be able to cause immune system “fatigue”, essentially causing it to do the opposite and train your immune system to ignore COVID-19 because it starts to think it’s just always supposed to be there. A vaccine once a year shouldn’t be able to cause it, but we’re getting into new waters with fighting COVID.
I would buy a Zenfone in a heartbeat if they had more than 2 years of support. Apple’s doing 6 years. Microsoft is doing effectively infinite. I don’t get why every Android manufacturer other than Samsung and Google seem so bent on producing mountains of e-waste.
Undercutting competitors is how you foster a pro-consumer market. That’s one of the core tenets of capitalism. On its own, that’s a good thing. The problem is when companies think customers are so attached to them that they don’t worry about being undercut themselves.
There’s no finite land on the Internet. You’re just as free to set up your own server today as you were 30 years ago.

Tesla’s have a button to electronically open the door and immediately below it they have a traditional pull handle to open the door.
Doesn’t AlmaLinux offer professional support?
Regardless of whose fault it is, it’s unacceptable that half the people with a discrete GPU have nigh incompatible hardware. It’s more akin to using snow tires breaking your car than a jet engine.
I can say she was convicted of two counts of both R.C. 2903.02(A) & (B)—basically “normal” murder and felony murder. Clearly they thought she did it on purpose and because she was committing another felony. I can’t say why those don’t merge together under Ohio law or if they are supposed to. Ohio is a fairly statutory state, so maybe they overwrite that common law rule?
Uh, I think society is pretty darn dependent on everyone working to sustain it.
Not being fully developed ≠ nonexistent
We shouldn’t remove all consequences for your actions until you turn 25. Young people are a little dumber, but they’re not infants. They should still be able to think for themselves.
Her insurance premium is 100.2% of her salary?

In the US, people making minimum wage pay $0 in income tax in almost all states.
