Docs can only really help you if your problem is “I have used X from the library Y, yet I do not understand the baseline definition of X sufficiently and this is causing issues”. A lot of problems in practice are much more fundamental than that

Yeah I completely agree, my issue is more with the amount of people that try and push it as a manjaro alternative. It doesn’t in the slightest work as a manjaro altrnative for the reasons you’ve mentioned yet a bunch of people seem to think it is. I’ve seen endeavourOS recommended to beginners a bunch of times when they ask about manjaro

I’ve got to go with Endeavour. I’m not sure it’s so much that it’s overrated, but more that the community talks about it as a replacement for Manjaro which is far from the case. The installation may be easier than arch but once it’s all up and running you’re going to need to be comfortable in the terminal to sort things out. The documentation for endeavour is incredibly lacking too. It’s an unnecessary middle step between a “beginner” distro and arch. If you can’t follow the arch installation guide on the wiki then you’re going to have even more trouble when it comes to endeavour

There’s definitely a lot of ueless hype surrounding it, and anything really with the word quantum in it. Quantum computers will be really good at a specific set of problem-solving, but a lot of the hype around them makes them out to be some sort of direct upgrade to normal computers which just isn’t true

Overthinking it is exactly what leads to the solution “no” imo. If you say no every time, then you can only possibly be correct 1/3 of the time since it’s a 1/3 chance of picking the correct door. Hence 2/3 of the time you picked incorrectly and hence should switch. By design if you pick incorrectly then the switched door will be the correct solution

Been using PeerTube on and off for about a year now, been planning on starting a maths education channel on Trom. It’s definitely got potential, but I don’t see the average Youtube user migrating over to it any time soon. The main issue really is that children/young teens are a large portion of the target audience for a lot of big creators these days and the mobile apps for peertube are heavily lacking still. Not helped of course by the fact that one of the better android apps, NewPipe, which allows both YouTube and PeerTube in one place is not on the Play Store

I’ve always found this sort of stuff interesting, the stark contrast between what Tory voters preach and what the party has often stood for. The party’s emphasis seems swayed by whoever has the biggest wallet rather than actually promoting traditionally conservative values.

If anything, the UK has become more dependent on other countries in recent years. Our public transport is pretty much entirely owned by foreign companies that charge extortionate amounts here because their own countries have better regulations.

They could’ve made Brexit into a huge push to eat more seasonally and support local farmers, which would both help local economy and be more environmentally friendly, but instead they focussed on drawing attention towards immigration
