I’d argue, 99% of the code written is not performance critical in the sense that a different language could help. Either performance really doesn’t matter that much, or it’s an IO problem. You can process as fast as you want, if the DB takes 100ms to respond, you won’t get below 100ms overall.

Nö. Ich hab hier einen futro s920, der zieht 5W, Prodesk mini G3 kommt mit i5 6500t auf 6W, Optiplex SFF mit i5 6500 kommt auf 15W. RPi3b kommt auf 5W. Alles direkt an der Steckdose gemessen.

Und gerade der Prodesk sieht sogar ganz hübsch aus.

Ich frage mich langsam wirklich,ob Sachsen noch zu retten ist. Diese seltsame selbstgerechte Bockigkeit ist dort offensichtlich dermaßen tief verankert, dass man da wahrscheinlich nichts mehr machen kann.

Oder einen alten Dünnkunden. Gibt’s für deutlich unter 100€ und sind wesentlich leistungsfähiger.
