Don’t forget our discord server!
Edited to make it more clear!
Please have a look at https://lemmy.world/legal. Under “Principles that Guide us” you can see that we are not a free speech instance and never have we claimed otherwise.
Same, played a few CIV games over the years but never really got into it… Nothing sticked. I would play it for a few days and then go back to playing fps games :)
Report those being toxic. We are quick to react.
Works only if your server is hosted in the US
Those doing this want Lemmy to fail
It was worded a harshly but I’m happy to see you jump in here @gabe@literature.cafe <3
To users this might seem like it came out of the blue but instance admins know this is has been a big issue for months. The “roadmap” they shared was indeed, optimize the database queries to make things go brrrr, get more funding and update join-lemmy.org
I’m so happy to have been the 💯th to give him his downvote
No that option doesn’t exist in Lemmy for now.
Doing “the bare minimum”? We have quite a big team trying to keep the impact for our users to a minimum. We don’t claim to care. We DO care. And we try to be as transparant as possible.
We monitor the new posts, we react very quickly to reports, we make sure that even with the sign up requirements everyone can still get on board quickly and we are looking for a solution for the csam problem.
If this is not what you want Lemmy to be, there are plenty of options.
Yes but when people start creating accounts to post CSAM it doesn’t leave us much choice.
Indeed. This is a lot more work.
Zeker.
People suck.
Hey @BackOnMyBS@lemmy.world this is not a Lemmy support forum. We already had one post from you a while ago about Lemmy functionality but we can not help you with that here. This is a support community for the Lemmy World instance not the Lemmy software. As suggested by another user in this thread it is best to post these kind of requests in the Lemmy GitHub.
Yes, please try clearing browser cache and cookies first.
And if that doesn’t work try using https://photon.lemmy.world or https://a.lemmy.world ?
Please do not use the r-slur here.
This thread is about unpinning a local thread. Something that does not affect people from another instance at all.
Exploding-heads.com went down. They moved to nostr afaik.
