Archer and Janeway have done some batshit stuff too.

How rich you are on 100k really depends on where you live.
I never fully got it as a twitter user, but it has something to do with the ratio of likes I believe. The one person has hundreds where the other has 10s of thousands.
Gardens of the Moon
I think if you ignore its an adaptation, its fine. It murders the source material in many ways. That doesn’t bother me much because I think the foundation books told faithfully would have made for a very dry tv series.
I can’t remember the News organization that did the reporting, but CSAM content grew a LOT during the pandemic, and learning of this, a news agency wanted to look into it, see how easy it was to find, they tried just doing some basic searches (the search terms for which they didn’t reveal) in major search engines, and turned up a lot of content, specifically in Bing I think off the top of my head. They nearly got in trouble with the FBI because of it. So yeah, if you go looking for it, apparently shockingly easy to come across.
You aren’t going to hit that tolerance consistently on an assembly line no matter how much you pay. Can be done by a skilled machinist, but there are too many dynamical variables in an assembly line environment, like the previously mentioned thermal expansion.
That’s not how bond works.
I live in a car manufacturing city. I don’t work in the industry but have plenty of friends and acquaintances who do. Have 2nd hand stories of high level managers giving speeches where they literally say they are focusing on trucks and SUVs because the margins are better.
Nope. This is all driven by the car companies. They can get higher margins on large vehicles.
Of course you could trivially build a single house for that price (The solution to the housing crisis isn’t lots of single family homes, its high density housing). But land is expensive and construction costs are high, 240 houses is waaaay overshooting.
You’re the third person to say the same thing. NFTs conceptually predate the existence of the blockchain and don’t need to be on it. Wikipedia or w/e you got your definition that says otherwise are simply wrong. And yes, I own several different domain names.
NFTs do have value in narrow use cases. For instance Domain names are NFTs and incredibly important to the way humans interact with the internet.
Although Star Trek has always been progressive for its time, with a good number of message episodes related to contemporary politics, it was off air for long enough that these people now making videos viewed the old trek as kids, when they weren’t aware enough to know contemporary politics, and if watching something like TOS, the issues were mostly ‘solved(at least in the minds of these kinds of viewers)’. If you give them the benefit of the doubt that their kid selves viewed these old shows apolitically, whats left is a show about a futuristic military vessel that as often as not has to solve issues with force. Its not too hard to see why Fascists could find value in that.
Ignoring everything else, because other accusations seem to have more credibility, although a charity auction is certainly a type of sale, sale has completely different connotations than charity auction when devoid of context. It’s a fair issue for them to have and raise.
I can’t answer what Bombadil is in the lore of LOTR, he seems to be unique in terms of entities we are shown. But I can tell you what he is at a meta level. You see, LOTR was first told as stories to Tolkiens kids, which you probably already knew, which you may not have known, is that Bombadil was a recurring character in previous stories he had told his children. So at a meta level, Bombadil is just a fun callback to a previous character for his kids to have enjoyed.
Early trends for Millenials and young Gen X has them not getting more conservative as they are aging, or at least substantially less so than older generations.
Archer withheld a cure for an entire species because Phlox convinced him it was the natural course of things. (Valakians) Janeway goes back in time to get her ship home with more crew alive, altering history in who knows what ways for the entire galaxy.
