YTA. People with young kids tend to socialise way less because they dont sleep and its a lot of work. When they do socialise the kids tend to be around because organising childcare is difficult to organise, can be expensive, potentially stressful for the kids. Very frequently the options are take your kids with you to socialise, or dont socialise at all. Its why new parents suddenly start socialising a lot with other parents.
And it might not be as bad as you think, depending on the kids. They may be happy entertaining themselves and sleeping, and you can have a relatively normal time until they wake up and get restless at which point the mum might decide its time for them to leave. Or they could be crying and screaming the whole time.
Top 1% of income from all sources which includes your 200 mega rich families. 1% of 70m people is 700k people. Of course the top 0.1% are way richer.
I think most people would see that as ultra rich or super rich. To most people “rich” means having significantly more money than them. So given that the median salary in the UK is £37k, most people would probably say someone on £80k is rich, even though its pretty easy to earn that much and still want for more.
The reference is from his first book which was all about his experiences living with the downtrodden in Paris and London. In fact that’s why he used the pen name George Orwell - he didn’t want to risk harming the reputation of his middle class family.
£181k is all you need to be in the top 1% in the UK.
Global warming solved.
You can still have a road next to the bike lane, it just needs to have a barrier in between.
In the Netherlands you’ll see roads with three lanes of equal size in each direction with dividers in between. One for bikes, one for buses, one for cars.
In North America you will make drivers absolutely furious if you take some of their driving lanes away and make them exclusively for bikes or public transport. But they will eventually realise that such a system makes driving far more pleasant because there are so much fewer cars on the road when most journies are done via bike or public transport that you don’t need the extra lanes.
This is just a proposal and unlikely to go anywhere.
Guns are way more dangerous though. A 14 year old watching some porn is hardly life ruining. How many 14 year olds haven’t watched porn? If they’ve got access to the Internet they’re going to find it.
Its much better to actually properly teach your kids about sex and porn so that it doesn’t fuck them up, than to try and protect them by restricting access to it.
Thats pretty much how it happens in the film too.
Because the restaurant pizza in Norway costs like 30 usd.
The average American only eats 16g of fibre per day. 3 cups of coffee would be about 1/3 of that.
But you don’t want to do anything that requires security on them like shopping, email, or anything that requires you to log into to an account that you dont want stolen.
Quite a bit of fibre, polyphenols (antioxidants), almost zero calories.
Coffee tastes worse with sugar, black is better.
If you’re only interested in the energy/wakefulness then you’re better off quitting caffeine altogether. The energy a regular user gets from caffeine is just the alleviation of withdrawal symptoms.
Baked beans are also just one type of British bean preparation.
My wife doesnt like how much noise it makes and says its messy and violent and dangerous to open anything with a gun. We are eating a lot more soup now though.
