This was fixed in the most recent testflight, app store version with the fix should be out today or tomorrow.

It’s an unfortunate situation, but there’s an app called ‘Miximum’ that I use to create a smart playlist for all of my “Loved” songs. Also works really well to make genre/decade specific playlists if you’ve got a large library

Not sure if Sync allows it, but default sorting to top/6 hours has given me the most enjoyable experience of cycling content so far

On your second statement, they’re actually (finally) adding VPN support in the next update
