900 FRUSTRATING hours of my life that I’m never gonna get back

I enjoy VR games, but I can’t get into VR racing. I can’t see the wheel, the shifter so it’s hard to enjoy immersion when I had to fumbling to find a grip. I can’t see the control buttons so navigating the menu is a pain in the rear end.

It’s mean to say a new kind of worm that’s haven’t infected human before.

Playing racing games on PC.

At first, it’s just a few racing games with an Xbox controller.

Then it get more complicated with the more advanced racing sim/arcade and the controller isn’t enough anymore.

Then come a simple wheel and pedals set.

But now the games is way more enjoyable, then up the difficulty.

Now I need gear shifter, hand brake, better monitor, better PC.

Then not long until I need a full racing cockpit to mount everything on.

And now, after all that is just the beginning.

I actually made enough each month to pay rent for almost 2 years during the Covid pandemic (subtracted the energy bill).

The bible.

I want to watch the world burn again. Humanity doesn’t deserve a second chance.

People said “never buy 1st gen”. But I thought the steam deck has been completely solid since launch with no major problems or flaws. (Unlike the ROG Ally with the microSD slot overheating).

Guys, what would be a better purchase?

1. Used 6700xt for $200

2. Used 3060 12GB for $220

3. Non of the used, get a new $300 card for the 2 years warranty.

And then there’s Thai language, each word pronounce like the sounds originate from 12 different places in your mouth while being choked to death. Then do a big snort after every 3rd words.

It has been so long so I couldn’t remember the details. But when I got an Iphone 4 back in the day (1st ever iPhone, after many Androids). It got me so frustrated doing anything on it.

One of my biggest frustration was: There’s no “bulk selection” AT ALL! Want to delete pictures? One by one. Delete phone history? One by one. Delete Contacts? ONE! BY! ONE!.

I thought to myself “How could ANYONE use this thing?”

Get rid of it after 4 months and never looked back.

One big thing that holding me back from getting a Fold before was the hinge didn’t fold completely flat. Now that issue is no more, I’m temping to get one.

My PC is i7-3770 from 2012, my laptop is $100 from craigslist, my phone is 5 years old Xiaomi, my handheld is Nintendo DSlite. Can’t blame me either. :)

Ps:LG V20 is so neat, I still remember drooling over it when it’s released, I was still a student back then so I can’t afford it 😔
