Well yes, but no. If you see capitalism, which includes billionaires having a right to exist, as a set standard, I would 100% agree with you. But billionaires shouldn’t even exist in the first place. You only become a billionaire, by either massively exploiting your workerforce, capitalising every single aspect of your product/customer and not redirecting your profits back to society. We shouldn’t live in a world, where we are cheering for people giving away their money, that they shouldn’t own in the first place. There is no ethic way to be a billionaire.
To prevent misunderstandings: I 100% agree, that this is actually a good thing, but we still have to raise awareness about the societal and political problems of billionaires existing in the first place.

Its quite simple. They make quite a lot of fun and also because they give you the possibility to escape the dystopian world we live in.
Wrong community?
I think both have their use cases. Gnome is absolutely fantastic, if you use it on a laptop with a touch screen (for university, school, etc), but on desktop I dont really like it that much. I like the simple design, but KDEs customisability is much better. However, their virtual desktops are kinda ass, but I dont really use them on my desktop PC anyways.

Yeah, in retrospect I came to the conclusion to rank it down a bit.
My mother is actually a quite fine person, if you ignore that she’s a conspiracy theorist. This is also the reason, why I am quite happy about not having to live with them anymore, but it isn’t so bad, that I would completely cut contact with them. Also I Am financially dependent on my parents, so even if I wanted to cut contact I wouldn’t really be able to.
She isnt a narcissist, shes just absolutely shocked and overwhelmed.
Can only confirm this. Since I had to finally acknowledge, that I’m trans life really does feel different. For the first time in literal years I have been able to feel true happiness. Prior to my realisation life kinda sucked. It was more like a monotonous stream of time where nothing really happened.

I’m kinda lucky that I dont really have to worry about the political climate in my city. I dont know any place with such a big LGBTW+ Community, AS This City. My hometown will be much trickier, since its much more c9ndervative.
