2 years agoIf you’re going to store something on someone else’s computer (Google cloud), they have every right to control what is and is not allowed on their systems. Don’t like it? Use encryption, selfhost, etc…

I’d choose one that is on the newest version, high uptime, lots of users but not too many and relatively low latency.
I know these guys are too busy to do it but I would gladly pay a monthly fee for a podcast with Steve (GN), Steve (HUB), Wendell (L1) and Gordon (PCWorld).

Looking at the commits, I see mozilla devs working on it. The release schedule has been mirroring the official firefox releases for as long as I can remember.
They most likely will but that’s something I’ve been hearing about for years.
You can use this method in Fennec/Mull as well.
41·2 years agoSnapdragon 8 gen 2 gpu theoretical performance is closer to that of the ps4 pro. Even then you have vastly different power limits and architectures. It’s amazing what the gpus in our phones can do but they’re not in the same league as modern hardware in consoles and PCs.
You’ll want a setup that has providers with different backbones. Found the map from the site that shall not be named. If you download alot, ideally you’ll want your main to be fast and unlimited with a few block accounts from other backbones.

Flathub still shows the old version and the github page has been archived. The main site doesn’t even have an option to choose your download package.
I’ve already installed 115 but this doesn’t seem new user friendly.
1·2 years agoWill Samsung ever rethink Knox and allow custom roms without losing warranty coverage and negatively affect resale value? What about allowing banking apps to work again if you go back to the default rom?

Give obtainium a shot to get it straight from the source as soon as it’s available.
Hardware unboxed will definitely do another deep dive into upscalers once fsr3 is widely available.
