I’m not following, do you need the bitlocker key when Linux is on a separate disk? is there something extra you need to keep in mind compared to just running windows?

most of his comments I completely understand, but saying process manager ‘looks a bit low-rent’ tells me absolutely nothing other than that you personally don’t like the look.
also, complaining about not having a consistent way to install apps is a bit rich wheh coming from a desktop where the best way is still to just find the app website, download the installer and click through an inconsistent installer that might be trying to add ad- or spyware alojg with yue app you wany
thanks! will be trying them out this weekend
not same person, but I’m definitely interested in the recipe
it says you need to have smart features on for this to work. I went looking for how to turn it off, but aparently in the EU, UK, Japan and others it’s off by default
who makes a list of pizza styles and leaves off Neapolitan?
I don’t think you have a good read on Europeans at least. public sentiment is quite different in different countries, with people in countries closer to Russia being willing to go much further to oppose Russia.
while the average Dutchman probably wouldn’t want to fight for their own country, let alone another one, I don’t doubt that people in e.g. Poland, the Baltic states or Finland are much more aware of the danger to themselves and their country and more willing to make personal sacrifices.
I don’t think anybody got from your comments that you’re pro trump
frankly, I think you are mistaken about what it means to be political. It isn’t strictly about one party vs another. you can talk about politics without explicitly supporting or disliking a political party.
being political at the core is about policy.
and this is why star wars was political from the start. it wasn’t just a cool story, it was meant in part to make you sympathise with the rebels, and dislike the empire. And crucially, to link the rebels to Vietnam and the empire with the US and Nixon. it shows a dislike of what the US was doing, what the party in charge was doing, and perhaps to turn people away from that.
saying all that isn’t political is like saying Bob Dylan wasn’t political because he didn’t support one or another party
afaict they’re computers with a GPU that has some hardware dedicated to the kind of matrix multiplication common in inference in current neural networks. pure marketing BS because most GPUs come with that these days, and some will still not he powerful enough to be useful
senior headpalmer
I think the fact he said ‘your nation’ instead of ‘our nation’ should answer your question
same for Europeans in America, we would think all your bike lanes are forbidden for bikes
your defaultism is showing. In fact most of the world uses a white sign with red border to mean a prohibition.
and in fact children need to be taught what traffic signs mean all over the world, they don’t magically know it
Neither is more intuitive, it’s just what you’re used to, culturally. Europeans could equally go to America, see a white sign with black symbol and red border and remark upon learning that it indicates a bike lane ‘That’s just not intuitive’.
I distinctly remember early Facebook and its predecessors being filled with red-eye pictures
I did not assume anything about you, I specifically said I wasn’t saying you personally did this. but you can’t deny there’s a decent proportion of left-leaning voters who do this.
I’m also not a liberal, neither the US usage of the term nor the original usage. But do keep insulting everyone who disagrees with you, I’m sure it will be great for attracting people to your cause
I just think you should consider not only the ideal outcome of your vote but also the most likely one. what did voting third party actually do here other than make you feel good? Trump has in fact been doing worse than kamala would have on the middle east and is gunning for a war against Iran. in addition but obviously not nearly as bad as the genocide, his tariffs will negatively impact a lot of people in southeast asia.
but more than all that, and I’m not saying you personally do this, I’m tired of people not voting in any election but the presidential and then complaining about the choices they ended up with.
