I think Mallrats is very in this vein - just more PG than Clerks.
Happy Ears - small, not to pricey, reuseable. I prefer to my Loops
Yah, I think we’re on the same page. We’re all a product of our experiences and recent context probably informs how we all interpret posts like this.
Not sure I follow this line of thought. I honestly didn’t think of anything nefarious - just someone who was privy to a situation or piece of information that they hadn’t been instructed to keep quiet. I’ve had that exact thing happen to me so many times where someone mentioned something that happened conversationally and then the official line was something different. No reason to make waves or bring it up - just initiates some curiosity/wariness.
It’s funny, your head went to relationship – my mind went straight to a Work scenario where you’re being told one thing by your boss or whoever but someone already told you the truth.
But you do have Mt Hood and the Columbia River and the coastline to console you. 😍
Normally short for Dexamfetamine (depending on your country) lisdexamfetamine is a long release version which your body breaks down into dexamfetamine over a longer period eg. One a day vs multiple tabs multiple times a day.
Yeah, Russian flavoured consequences for the muskrat.
It holds up. Geena Davis is a straight up bad-ass boss mutha fucka!
Shades of The Martian are coming to mind for me.
He’s beautiful!! What combo is he? Really awesome and unusual looking mix! Tell [us his name] him he’s a good boy!!
Jeeze, I’m an outlier - my first thought was the beautiful spiral of a pine cone. Anything that has the Fibonacci spiral, but picking up a pine cone from a quiet, rain-soaked forest path where every footstep is cushioned by fallen needles and leaves. There are many types of cones, but the hard ones that have spread all their seeds form the most beautiful and uniform spirals. To a non-believer, it feels like one of the greatest arguments for the existence of an intelligent higher power
I think you’re all being a bit unfair. They hadn’t even taken the class yet! If they’d already run the class they would have seen it coming. Can’t expect someone to do something they haven’t been trained to do.
Well there’s your problem right there. Your launderer has fallen asleep on the job.
Coh-ka-coh-ka-coh-ka-coh!
And a Zig-Zag, a Rhododendron, and a general store called Wanker’s Corner.
Omg, I had to re-read, but you’re right - I can totally see it!! This season has been the best for driver/engineer comms. “Yeah, that’d be the water”. 😂 Even Hammy losing his cool “want me to let them through too?!” Def super niche, I love it.
I’m thinking as well that there’d have to be a significant number of crashes where it’s just the driver in the car (also a chunk of those where there isn’t another car involved). I’d be interested in knowing the # of occupants, and single vehicle stats given Waymo is removing the driver from that equation. I’m not sure it would change anything and I don’t think the data is being misrepresented - just curious if it would inform my perspective at all.
Comparing Waymo to taxi/uber services would be a direct comparison I’d like to see.
